Okayama

Just some visual records of my brief stay in Okayama

After Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go, I didn't have anything planned, I just knew that I still had a few more days in Japan. In fact, I had several ideas in my head, but there were too many options for just a few days.

So, after a few days in rainy Kanazawa, I decided to head back to southwest Japan, this time choosing Okayama as my destination.

In addition to appearing to be a peaceful city, its proximity to Takamatsu was essential for my decision.

Kōraku-en

In Okayama, I visited Kōraku-en, which as I mentioned in the post about Kanazawa, is considered one of the 3 great gardens of Japan, along with Kenroku-en in Kanazawa, and Kairaku-en in Mito.

With winter coming to an end, my few days in Okayama were sunny and had high temperatures, compared to Kanazawa and especially Shirakawa-go.

Below are some visual records of Kōraku-en.
