Last week, on December 14th, after not so much hype around, Escape Motions released Rebelle 7.

I discovered Rebelle and Escape Motions earlier this year, while reading an article about Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on befores & afters. I was awed by the way Rebelle emulates real oils and watercolors. Plus, is not a subscription based software!

Anyway, Rebelle 7 was released last week, with a new feature called Metallic Materials.

Too bad the reflections don't work like that once you export the image, of course.

Everything about Rebelle is super well thought, and I dare to say that some brushes are addictive. 🙈
