Deadpool & Wolverine

I finally watched Deadpool & Wolverine! Come read a bunch of nonsense about it as I try to put out on words something worth of reading...

Well well well, I'm still trying to process all the chaos that was Deadpool & Wolverine.

So I went to the cinema today, to watch Deadpool & Wolverine, of course.

Personally, I don't care too much about spoilers, especially comedy movies, so I knew already pretty much all the cameos and easter eggs. Believe it or not, I actually go after spoilers, I don't try to avoid them. 🙈

Deadpool & Wolverine is funny, at least for me. Though I understand why a lot of people don't enjoy these super-hero-type of movies anymore. It's a type of humour... well, peculiar? Definitely not for everyone.

When the first cameo appeared (Chris Evans as Johnny Storm) I knew it the chaos would be the main protagonist. At first, Deadpool thought it was Captain America, but when then "Cap" starts swearing... Watching this movie was like going down the memory lane, reading a chaotic Deadpool comic, or any other chaotic Marvel one.

Speaking of cameos, a lot of cameos are in the movie. Dafne Keen is back as X-23 (Laura Kinney), Elektra is back (Jennifer Garner), Blade is back (Wesley Snipes), Pyro is back (Aaron Stanford), and a lot more from the Fox/X-Men universe. I wish that Cable and Domino were also in the movie, but I understand that maybe it would be a bit too much.

Plotwise Deadpool & Wolverine is somewhat predictable, and that per se was expected, as probably all of these super-hero movies are. At least the latest ones. I still need to re-watch Deadpool & Wolverine, but I don't think this one matches the first Deadpool movie.

I love the amount of details on this movie. Probably my favorite one is X-23 using the glasses she'd stolen during Logan's movie. That attention to detail is something I truly appreciate!

All and all, Deadpool & Wolverine is good movie, way better than this messy text I wrote and you just read. A movie for comics fans, but non-comic fans can still enjoy it. Just don't take everything too serious.
