I just watched Kurara: The Dazzling Life of Hokusai’s Daughter over at NHK World Japan and it's truly fascinating.

I don't know much about Hokusai's work other than The Great Wave off Kanagawa (神奈川沖浪裏), I didn't even know his daughter "O-Ei" became his "brush" and painted on his behalf.

I can't recommend this enough!
