My "least favorite" favorite NEMOPHILA album

It's been a little over a week since NEMOPHILA released their latest album; "Apple of my eye", and here is my short review.

It's a good album. Not my favorite though. For what's worth, my tier list is probably their albums in released album, meaning:

  1. REVIVE
  2. Seize the Fate
  3. EVOLVE
  4. Apple of my eye

But still, it's a good album.

Burn It is my favorite track. It has soul, it has momentum, it has a beautiful melody. I REALLY loved it!

AKAKAGACHI is probably my second favorite track, followed by Good as hell quartet.

I like the fact that they keep experimenting new things and new blends together.

Overall, the album feels way too short (37 minutes), well, because it is their shortest album yet. On top of that, they released 4 singles (including the longest track Beautiful days) prior to the official launch of the album, which made the album feels even more short than it is.

It seems they are going to a more "core" direction, which I'm not a huge fan of it, plus, it seems they are not investing in guitar solos like the first 2 albums. It is what it is.
